Message from the Managing Director

Dear friends,

We have been busy with the 630m Shanghai Centre, tallest building under construction in China. In total, we have over 1,000,000m2 floor areas of project works in China including HSBC new headquarter and two eco parks/sustainable office development.

We continue to serve the Hong Kong market and have been awarded with commercial and residential building, parks, public utility buildings, university teaching school, heritage building with adaptive re-use. We are privileged to be involved in the updating BEAM standards (BEAM Plus) under the School of Architecture, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In Macau, the review and public consultation for the new Code of Practice for Public Lighting Design after almost two years of implementation have been completed. The Golden Lotus Plaza new public lighting proposal have been completed and scheduled for construction in next year. The Ponte 16 Casino and Le Royal Arc casino comes on line as scheduled as we have successfully completed the 3rd party review and Certification for Fire Engineering.

China will continue to lead the economic recovery with Hong Kong, Macau and nearby Asian cities. Climate change and carbon reduction are the key topics which will continue to generate interest and attention in combating the world’s global warming and fossil fuel shortage. We are very much into sustainable and green building design and are ready to take up this challenge and lead the transformation of built environment.
